In March 2015, ITE “Vitale Giordano” of Bitonto held a meeting with the engineer Tommaso Farenga (professor of mathematics in our school) on renewable and photovoltaic energy . Eng. Farenga, expert in planning environmental and local development strategies, introduced students to the state of renewable energy in Puglia. Students from Erasmus group and classes II B, II Tu B and V BF attended the meeting; later they visited, always with the guidance of prof. Farenga, the photovoltaic system on the roof of our school. This meeting is part of the activities organized by the school for the project Erasmus plus “There is something new under the sun”.
